Reverse Speech is known as the 'Voice of the Unconscious'. What does the term 'unconscious' mean to you? The Swiss Psychiatrist, Carl Jung's view was that the 'unconscious' is the great guide, friend, and advisor of the 'conscious'. Random House dictionary defines 'the unconscious' as the part of the psyche that is rarely accessible to awareness but that has a pronounced influence on behavior. What would tapping into this 'great guide and advisor', this 'pronounced influence on behaviour', enable you to do? Open yourself to the myriad of possibilities, as it is now possible to tap this vault of information on behavior to a depth previously unavailable to mankind. The good Dr. Jung also stressed the importance of maintaining a balance between consciousness and the unconscious, so that the unconscious informs but does not overwhelm individual consciousness.
Today humanity, as never before, is split into two apparently irreconcilable halves.
The psychological rule says that when an inner situation is not made conscious, it happens outside, as fate.
That is to say, when the individual remains undivided and does not become conscious of his inner contradictions, the world must perforce act out the conflict and be torn into opposite halves.

What are these 'opposite halves' Jung speaks of? Simply put, they are what we want to be creating (and think we are) versus what actually manifests in our lives. When an individual remains 'undivided', as Jung puts it, this equates to the unconscious mind being unsupervised, which results in a disproportionate 'running of the show' by it, rather than having it interact as a guide, friend, or teammate. Reverse Speech allows the opportunity to look inside, beyond the mask of Ego, into the inner contradictions. You are now able to hear this 'inner voice' out loud, and by doing so become a conscious supervisor having the levels of consciousness working together in tandem.
